How can I create a New Organization?

Getting your organization set up in IX Layer can be done in 5 easy steps.  Watch the video tutorial below for details and use the step-by-step instructions as a guideline!

 

 

Step-by-step Instructions

  1. To start, click on the Organization's link in the left navigation.  This will display a list of organization that are setup on the platform
  2. Move to the top right side of the list and click on the +New Organizations button to add your new organization
  3. Enter the Name and Address for the organization and set the status flag to active.  Don't worry, you can Enable Or Disable an organization at any time!  If you decide disable an organization, it will prevent all the members of the organization from to logging in to their account
  4. Next, click the Save button to create your new organization.  Your new organization will be displayed in the Organization list so you don't have to wait long to see what you've created 
  5. Click on your newly generated organization to see a detailed view of the organization.  While you are on looking at the organization, you can:
    • Edit the organization
    • Get an overview of admins and staff under that organization
    • Add new organization staff  
    • Active or deactivate and organization admin or staff
